  • Fernandes wants Mittal stake too?

Hope this isn't true. I think we need the Mittals' support as well and it would be great to have Amit back making decisions too.

That's a shame. Hoped they would make a dream partnership. With Fernandes in total control fear it will mean players coming in of the Puncheon variety. Also Amit has experience of running the club so it wouldn't be such a learning curve. Either option better potentially than Flavio/ Bernie but not the dream solution.

Fernades Wants total control - Ealing Gazette

The Gazette are reporting he wants total control and is trying to buy out the Mittal's.

I am starting to think the worst that this guy is just in it for free advertising as he has so much going on elsewhere at the moment.

I truly hope I am wrong but after watching the sky sports interview, he is leaving the door well and truly open to **** off and leave us in the shite........... I tuly hope I am wrong

IF this is true im abit p**sed off tbh! The reason I was getting excited with this whole proposed takeover was the thought of the Mittals being more willing to throw some millions at us with a different majority share holder backing them. Fernandes alone, with his "measley" £400mill wont be able to splash a huge amount on us. IMO anyway.

Hope he isn't on some sort of power trip or something.
He needs someone else too (Mittals), he's not going to have much money left with a total buyout, wages, transfer budget, poss new ground plans etc worrying in fact, i see a Pompey down the line if he starts thinking he's too big, so i hope this piece isn't true.

If true proves that the "Press conference Thursday to announce take-over" are premature and BS.

Then again where's the surprise in that?

Agreed. But maybe he will be backed by an unknown consortium. I just wonder?

True, could be something like that.

For what it's worth, people are telling me all is good and the take over is going through sweet as a nut.

Dont blame him at all if I am honest but it could of course just be paper talk
