Reports today suggest that Queens Park Rangers are preparing a move for Manchester United Richard Eckersley on loan.
Season long loan.
The Mirror carries the story this morning that the 20-year-old full back is a target for the R`s in the wake of their record capture of Argentinean midfielder Alejandro Faurlín.
The Salford-born full-back is the younger brother of fellow United defender Adam Eckersley, and has made four appearances for the Red Devils during his brief spell as a professional.
He made his debut in January 2009 replacing fellow full back Fábio in the 2-1 FA Cup victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
Rangers are seeking a new full back following the exit of Damien Delaney to Ipswich, and Eckersley`s versatility across the back-line could be the key to the signature.
