I think in a funny sort of way we are now in a better position with transfers than if we had money to spend in the pre-season. Norwich (New defender tonight) and Swansea have done most of their deals and to be honest I can’t see any of their players setting the prem alight. Wayne didn’t do much did he!

We on the other hand haven't yet and we can all now see how hard this league really is. Hopefully if TF comes in and gives NW some money he can spend it in the right areas and on the right players, Just a thought

Hmm, not so sure about that. There's only two weeks left before the window slams. Most players who are going to move have either gone already or been in talks with prospective buyers/loan takers and NW has been spending the last few weeks signing freebies; there's no evidence that behind the scenes he's been checking out people he can't afford heretofore. He has to switch very quickly into shopping in the expensive shops and quite frankly it just doesn't have the ring of believability about it.

Tbf mate I can see exactly what youre saying. Other than the dreadful result against Bolton (which could potentially come back and haunt us come the end of season!), I do think what youre saying makes sense and agree with ya
