am i mistaken or did i just see on ssn that Norwich have announced a partnership with lotus f1? Isn't this the team owned by fernandes?

Nope, Fernandes owns the Formula 1 team called Team Lotus. Group Lotus (ie. the actual car company) are a separate company, and sponsor Renault in Formula 1. There is a big court case going on about it at the moment.

There is a issue with lotus f1 they let Tf use there name and now Renault are team lotus but can't use the name cos they let Tf have it a court date is pending to sort it out for next season Tf does not own Lotus just used their good name.

That's because what he says is incorrect.

Renault are NOT Team Lotus now, they are sponsored by GROUP Lotus but are still Renault F1.

Team Lotus (the F1 team) has been a seperate company to the Group Lotus car company for many years, even back in the days when Senna etc. raced for them. Fernandes bought the old Team Lotus name from the previous owner for this season after Group Lotus decided not to license him the Lotus name anymore and they decided to sponsor Renault instead. Both Team Lotus and Group Lotus say the other one shouldn't be using the name in F1, and there is an ongoing court case about it.

It is all rather confusing though.
