Nice and traditional sure but it's old and tired and restricting the potential for growth.
Fear of change is a bad thing.

So lets say hypothetically that we didn't win promotion, and we didn't get this £90 mill windfall from Prem/Sky, what would of happened to us if we were still in the championship and not awarded this fortune? Administration? Seems absurb that this amount of money is written off so quickly, and I for one would love to know what the clubs' plans are for it, but I won't hold my breath, they tell us nothing these days.

Ive been going to QPR for 18 years and had a season ticket for 10 of them. My Grandad, Dad and myself have always supported QPR and my Grandad lived outside the stadium so your talking complete crap quite frankly. You need to get off your high horse and realise other people have an opinion as well and you haven't got some god-like status where your opinion is always right.

We would be like coventry, end of the day forget what the stadium is like/prices/whos in charge etc we couldnt sell out our first game in the premier league after 15 years. We are a small team with a small fanbase.

So your Grandad 2 generations ago had an attachment with the area not you...I doubt you could give a **** whether the ground was in Surrey or Hillingdon as your always banging on about it.
Been going 18 years have ya...how old are you again

Have a look on here at locations, I'd say 75% of QPR fans no longer live in the local area but instead commute to games.
I love W12, but the fact is, if we can't afford to stay there at the same time as growing as a club then we need to move on. And yes I would like to stay as close as possible to our current location but don't think it will be the worst thing in the world if we were to move slightly out of central London where there is a larger untapped fanbase. A new complex with an Academy, new training facilities and a new stadium along the A40 would be great. Would be a massive boost for the club. But as Nodge says, I guess some people are too scared of change....Now, Then, Forever[CENTER]QPR-Football League CHAMPIONS

Coventry are a bad example purely due to the local authority completely naffing up the transportation and planning situation. Refused all applications for match day parking facilities and then refused to provide even a cursory match day shuttle service from the city centre or rail station.
Every other new ground has increased capacity and footfall substantially (Sunderland, Arsenal, Reading, Southampton, Leicester, Swansea, Cardiff, Brighton, Man City, Shrewsbury, Chesterfield) and if you increase your footfall, you increase your ancilliary commercial income too.

The weekly trips there, wont ever forget them and i wouldnt want to move away. BUT, should that be the only possible way to expand in years to come, i would rather mvoe abit up the road and expand than be stuck as we are in w12. As Nodge said, a fear of change is a bad thing.
