To think our owners are almost up there with them financial. 38m for Aguero is about what our entire club, including playing staff is worth.
Would be interesting to see what Mancini would do with a 1.2 m budget.....i'm sure Man City were probably close to signing Gabbidon, Dyer and looking at Degen....

Kingy has a valid point.
We are a club with billionaires on the board, and Neil Warnock has had to watch as one target after another has been snapped up by the likes of Swansea & Norwich, because our board won't finance the deals, or match the wages of these clubs.
FFS, we've even been pipped to the post for a player by bloody Brighton & Hove bloody Albion.
Whatever we may think personally about the calibre of players like Graham, Mackail-Smith, they were Warnock targets.
We are a premier league club, yet there are league 1 clubs with bigger transfer budgets. Madness, and such a cryin' shame too.
Fingers crossed things change after this week, as far as players go, but the point of my post is building not just the playing side but the club itself.

Yep it's true, not saying its not, but this exact same discussion has been had countless times this summer and it really does become quite boring after the 4th or 5th time.
