Scott - has Briatore gone? do you know?

Has the takeover by FT/AB been completed?

          Will they invest?

Twitter stuff can be complete BS but still spread like wildfire. Hope it's right but I'll believe it when I see it.

Just looked on Tony Fernandes Twitter. 3 hours ago he said "working on closing another big ancilliary venture".

Guess that could be us, or something entirely unrelated. Fingers crossed it's us.

Given that the price quoted for the take over is a bit over the top, do we know if the ground is included as part of the deal?

I thought the club still owned the stadium. Flavio and Amit just owned the company that lent tbe club money to pay off the ABC loan and that loan carries a mortgage on the ground.

To all intents and purposes I would assume that any take over would include the new owners buying this loan too (although that is just conjecture on my part.

The important thing is that the club owns the stadium but its being used was security on a loan from flavio and Amit.

Let's wait until we have the full details. This ABC loan is something we just can't shake off!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.
