  • Best deals to Everton by train

Someone here said they got a return from Watford Junction for £30.

What is the best station in Everton to go to?

Any help appreciated, I normally drive but fancy a few beers on this one.

I saw one for £29,but that was 2 months ago, prices gone up since then
you get out at Lime St,then get a Mersey rail service to either Sandhills or Kirkwall,Sandhills has a sort of shuttle bus to the ground, but both are walkable

              10:01 from Watty arrives Liverpool 13:10- £21.90

              Return 18:34 arrives Watty 22:34-£32:50

Long journey back but that's cheapest availability from what I can see.

I can never find these cheap fares people seem to get.
I wouldn't normally bother with the train, but was thinking about it for Newcastle. Even now, trains 3 months down the line are £110 return (cheapest Trainline option).
When the cheap train tickets for that become available, can someone post the link on here -- cos I'll be blowed if I can ever find them.

The think is Swanley Sky pick their matches sporadically so if you book the cheap tickets in advance Sky will move the kick off time so you will be up the creek without a paddle. The Premier League should make a rule that Sky/ESPN need to give a minimum 2 months notice if they want to move a kick off time.

I know that's a problem, and I agree with the TV companies being made to give notice etc., but I can't find the cheap tickets to book in advance anyway!!
