He was asked for a quote and simply said the sky is blue unlike the result against Bolton (again fair play because he has learnt some lessons in not talking)
And when asked how his role would be affected or if he would remain involved the quote was very clear - a potential takeover is good news for QPR - my position is irrelevant as the only thing that matters is QPR.
So you go ahead and dig him out as always guys - I am by no means a fan of his, but you have to be honest and say that he has acted in the right and proper manner in the circumstances.
I would have thought that on a list of priorities for QPR FC, that whether or not GP is employed by the club in one form or another is very close to the bottom.
Having said that, I suppose any new owners are aware that if they keep him, anything that goes wrong will be because of that decision.

Well they haven't really lowered the asking price because Bernie wanted £100m for his stake (66%), and the deal with TF is rumoured to be in the region of £80m, but that's only for 55%.
If Amit is to have 45% overall, then he / Mittals will be buying a further 12% on top of their existing stake, and i would imagine they are paying £15-20m for the privalege.

PUZZLED? Way people have been talking I thought Bernie owned 62% Mittals 33% & Flav 5% If Fernandes buying only 55% whats happening to Berie's other 7% or are the Mittals buying this to increase their holding to 40%. All very cloak & dagger not sure I like what,s going on I would like to see some transparancy here so we all know whats going on and who's in charge! and being honest to the fans for once.

This takeover obsession should be banned. All this bs about tony having 55% and the mittals 45% is a complete joke. Tony is just a figure head and no one in there right mind will pay anything near what tango and cash value the club at.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Lee at last someone else speaking fact. The problem is we have far to many fans that are media obsessed and sky sports love to brain wash other fans that don't read newspapers. This Tony doesn't have the wealth to fund this 'toy' and the mittals just aren't interested as they should of proven that to you over the last 3 seasons. Last year was the time to buy the club and they showed no bottle at a cheaper price. Lets put this bs story to bed because it's far to little to late. The squad we have should of been improved in the summer and it wasn't. We will have to write this season off, and that pains me to say.I played sunday league football today.
