    This is your time!

Can a member of the above club please post a quick 10 point self help guide for the thousands like myself who are thoroughly depressed tonight.

And if you get time, can you cheer us up by telling us what a great time you had today supporting your team, and how we will survive comfortably in this league.

I'm shocked - but it is only one game and NW says that we've got 3-4 more players coming. It's not the end of the world just yet.

          1.first game of the year
2.we were the better team for a long part of the match
          3.4 goals flattered them
4.the loss might force the hands of the owners into either selling or investing
5.we dont have to go home to bolton

              10 reasons to smile...

              1. Remember the first half performance
              2. Jay Bothroyd
              3. Taarabt can only get better
              4. Calm down - It's only been 1 game
              5. We are still in the premier league*
              6. We may still make some signings
              7. Warnock is still in charge
              8. Takeover is imminent... The war chest awaits us :p
              9. Clint hill will be suspended
              10. We could've lost 5-0

              *until May

                Reasons to be cheerful -

                1. First half performance (actually first hour was good)
                2. Once our back four setttle we will not conceed a goal similar to Gabbidons
                3. Third goal wicked deflection
                4. Result brings the players and staff back down to earth after last season. Did you really think we'd win yesterday?
                5. Hopefully NW will now be backed in the transfer market, especially as TF will be confirmed this coming week as new majority shareholder and he has already spoken with NW re: transfer targets
                6. Good atmosphere in and around the Bush before the game.
                7. Chance for a few beers and catch up with others
                8. Didn't have to go shopping with 'she who must be obeyed'
                9. Great home kit, although I do prefer less hoops, but still looks cracking
                10. Chips and Curry sauce outside the Bok
                11. Queuing for beer at half time ( what QPR is all about!!)
                12. New seats in the Loft
                13. Dyer out so we WILL have to invest in a new RB/LB
                14. Everton away next week ( I wouldn't bet against us getting a point)
                15. My two lads watching QPR in the PL for the first time in their lives

I could go on, so don't come on here slagging everything and other posters off.

                Get behind the team

                Onwards and upwards You R's
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

                  well said

I am surprisingly positive after the drubbing.

I was far less happy after the 5-0 drubbbing at Forest the season before last.

We were very good in the first half

First game is always a lottery, ask Wigan and Blackpool fans from last season.

We will get some new faces in and as long as they are in defence then we'll be a better team.

Come on boys things can only get better now

lets hope we get some players in on loan so we can compete with these prem teams...we get hammered at Everton and Wigan then we really got to start worrying.
