  • Same routine as last season?

White Horse for a quick pit stop before heading down the Smutts for me and possibly a quick one in the Springbok to give Coxy his Italy tournament programme but I was wondering if anyone plans changinging their home match routine this year?

What I mean is that over the years we have all found a certain bar etc where we meet our mates beforehand but with the antcipated bigger crowds this season and many newcomers I wonder if we will be looking for pastures new if we are unable to get that pint as quick as we are used to doing

Hopefully all the "new" fans this season will be returning QPR fans but I would hate to see our regular haunts full of newbies with no idea about QPR and what we are all about even though we really have to expand the fanbase

Don't think they have streamed games in the past though I expect it would be easier to do so this season what with all the foreign channels showing Premier football

Somebody posted on LFW a couple of weeks ago the name of a place in Uxbridge that was advertising it would show every QPR game live but I cannot remember the name of it but it might have been Hennessey's

I know a couple of places in Bush who will stream, have a Geordie mate popping over, he'll catch his match but be good if he can see us...think the landlady is a geordie in the WH

Yeah, that's Mary and her lad is a Geordie as well.

No doubt there will be karaoke again after home games!

Will the tourist-type newbies actually go into a pub? Most of them seem to turn up late with West End shopping bags.
The newbies who only go to football if it's in the Prem could pop up anywhere, I suppose.

Our routine will stay the same -- only tomorrow, I will probably be banging on the turnstile doors from about 9am, I'm desperate for my fix!!
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

To be honest, I thought it was starting to take a long time to get a pint last season.......I'll be in pub at 1 as normal (then the usual extra time, penalties excuses to the mrs, so I can stay for a couple after)
I also think that the "new" fans will mostly be families so unlikely to go to the pub. I would love it if we started to get more and more families to come along. I don't know about you but i'm getting sick and tired of taking my lad for a walk in the park and seeing all these other kids in chelsea shirts!

White Horse, then work my way down. I've not been in the Adelaide for ages, so may pop in there.

Definitely up for some pie n mash though.
                      Your mum would love me...

Train from Burnham about 12, mate gets on at Slough, probably have a beer on the train then to the Adelaide or Crown and Sceptre.
