  • QPR Football in the Community scheme on Sky Sports news.....

Sky Sports News just did something about the new Premier League starting.

The players have launched a scheme where they have donated 500k so local clubs can buy new kits.

They got a team from the QPR football in the community scheme to model the kits.

Good work by the players on this.

They said each side has contributed 25k. Not sure if our players could afford that on our wages
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Its a very positive move but thats basically 1k from each player in the Prem - each club has the 25 players in their registered squad. For players at our club and low wage teams thats a decent amount but from the likes of man city???? Its loose change to them isnt it

Should all be proportionate: therefore Rooney and Tevez have to wack in 20k as opposed to Bradley Orr's 1k!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
