You could repeat that post every week, with any club we play.

Ngog and Tuncay don't faze me.

Wright-Phillips scored a couple the last time he played at Loftus Rd. But he had a mare against us when we played the **** at Stamford Bridge a couple of seasons back.

I watch him him with England and he is pony now. Can't cross for toffee.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

ngog 9 goals in 61 games for liverpool. hardly inspiring
tuncay 21 goals in 114 games in england
swp most overrated player to grace the wings of a pitch since tony scully

not bothered about any of them and stats prove players with reputations can flatter to deceive

with 2 days to go, even if they did sign them - they would have one training session probably. So i highly doubt they will start and even if they did, three new players in a starting line up with players theyve not played with before - a bit of a gamble

SWP was easily unsettled by the "You let your country down" chants when we played Chelsea -- so easy to put off his game.
And, as people have said, they won't have had time to find their feet before Saturday.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Yeah, for the Bolton Galicticos, if they were beaten by our pub team.

With the reaction to yesterdays post re: Tuncay,I don't think too many of our members would be upset if we signed these three.

funny isnt it people want a 'proven goalscorer' yet seem in awe of a striker whose goals per game is dire. people are obsessed with big name players simple.

In total agreement Kingsley. Ngog might be a slight handful but, as his record shows, he is nothinigto be worried about tbh.

Tuncay, yes quite a good player tbf, def wouldnt mind him at LR, but hes been away from the PL for a while and so might not be upto scratch to start with (fitness and speed of play wise).

Couldnt agree more about SWP: he's a household name as was a good player in his first spell at City, but he is pony now IMO, just pacey with no end product nor strength nor decision making ability.

Bang on again mate. Anybody who has a reputation/is a well known name seem to get people semi-firm, regardless of what the stats say. IMO, this works both ways too (ie Puncheon) whos impressive stats last year in the PL and CCC, yet he is being labelled a "League 1 player at best" by people im sure have never really seen him play, other than maybe half a game on Sky last year for a very poor Blackpool side up against Man Utd!
