If it goes ahead I think like we did for the army to show the police that we give them our backing what is and has been really hard time for them. They been caught between what they want to do ad what they allowed to do. Please clap smile, and even shake there hand and say thank you.

What? Most of them just stood by and watched. If they had been more proactive it wouldn't have been allowed to go on so long.Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011

Knowing how we're treated at a football game you'll get arrested and a 3 year ban!
What has become very apparent over the last few day is how the police treat the general public and how we're treated at football. 2 separate ways. No wonder so many at football have such little regard for the police. At so many away games the police spend the whole 90 mins watching you as if you're a little naughty school kid constantly taking photos of you when you've done nothing wrong and there hasn't been an ounce of trouble at the game. They weren't being this tough with the looters over the last few days.First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Who will you two phone if you're burgled or assaulted?
Give the police a break, they didn't have the manpower to wade into the sheer numbers of looters on the the worse night, but since their numbers were tripled they have stopped any further trouble.
Maccatwo. I'm with you totally on this.Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Football fans always have and always will be treated worse than everyone else, they are probably taught it at police academy or whatever it's called.Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011

I think there have been a lot of groups of people (general public) going out helping and putting a stop, and this is what has now calmed things down, oh and with the police finally deciding to send in 16,000 men to London.
Let's just hope it's cooled down and our game goes ahead Saturday.Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011

Not to do with being female, just a matter of how you conduct yourself and whether they perceive you as a problem.
(btw: also nothing to do with gender -- they said, at some of the riots, anything up to 50 of the looters were female, and they are being taken to court once identified too. IT's what you do, not who you are.)Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

We Don't need policing this weekend not with any of the 43 bolton fans that are expected. Also if any of the Sheperds bush massive turn up at westfields i for one can't wait to get stuck in and pull their trousers down that are by their knees already and give em a slap.

They should have been more forceful and actually give these idiots a reason why they should stop.

Now they HAVE put more police on the streets, it has stopped.
Government should have acted quicker to mobilize more officers more quickly and allow them the resources.
They were more forceful with the youth on the bike in Manchester, and all it did was add fuel to the fire -- given that the initial reason for it all kicking off was a perceived show of police "force", the last thing they needed was to make it worse. Couldn't retake the streets until those extra 10k police were brought in.Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########
