  • Warnock out to prove critics wrong and keep QPR in the Premier League

Neil Warnock is relishing the chance to upset the odds and keep Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League.

A lack of big-money signings coupled with a summer of takeover talk has made Rangers one of the favourites to go down.

I love Warnock. Keeping him has been the best thing that has happened this summer.

Very much so Rebel. Surely this is the least any side has spent in the build up to a PL season having just been promoted?

It is my tubbyfriend,NO OTHER team have ever spent as little, but if Fernades is comfirmed as joint owner surely NW will be given funds, and the window is open for another 3 weeks

It will be interesting to see how we do if we stay up, alot of heavy wages will be freed up when contracts run out. The likes of Vine, Cooky, Rowlands, Agyemang, Hulse et al are out of contract at the end of this season. That must be a collective of about 80-100k per week. That is the difference between signing your Joe Coles and Peter Crouchs and not I guess.

Just to add this isn't me having a go at Rowly/Cookie or anyone really. The fact of the matter is our owners(at the moment) don't spend mega bucks and if we could free up some of the wages available to warnock we could sign 1/2 quality first team players rather than a team of unused reserves. We just have to stay up first!

Rumoured on FB that several players are about to leave and several about to come in -- but no names, and not verified.
I don't ever post rumours and gossip like this; however, I know the source personally, and, unusually for me!, trust them.

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Neil mentions he's asked about a bet that 'He doesn't get sacked and QPR stay up' and will probably be good odds.

Think i'll have a go at that one, he could be right.
