I personally think we'll have Puncheon and Bertrand (loan) in by Bolton game. and if we do, ill be pretty happy with the side we have tbh. Not too much strength in depth, but the starting 11 will be OK.

Bertrand is a decent player and would be happy enough to have him,no to that Southampton guy,but starting 11 looks ok,but our bench looks weak

Agreed bench looks weak. If (God forbid) we were unlucky enough to get injuries/suspensions to, say, Ali, Adel and Jay, we would really have no backup worthy of gracing a pitch with some PL sides which is slightly worrying! But, IMO, starting 11 isnt looking too bad. Will be alot happier if we get this Bertrand in on loan though!
Tbf, with regards Puncheon I've only seen him play on TV once for Blackpool last year and I thought he looked alright. Im giving him a chance as 1) His record last season of 5 in 7 in Championship and 3 in 11 in PL is not bad at all, and 2) Warnock wants him. Thats good enough for me, after last season I have every ounce of faith in him so we'll just have to wait and see!

Agree about the bench. Just looked at Wolves' stats for last season and they had 21 players that made five or more starts for them. We all agree that our starting XI is ok but how many of the bench would we really like to start 5 or more matches?

From our probable bench (ie those that didnt start vs Luton), I, personally, would only be comfortable and confident in Buzz. IMO;
Hogan: too lightweight. rarely has an impact at all.
Dave: need i even go there?
Clarke: As above.
Helguson: hmm, maybe. I do like him and think he could do a "Kevin Davies" role quite well. So maybe make my above statment 2 players!
Hill: Brilliant last year, may (and hopefully will) proove me wrong, but i think PL may be abit too fast tempo for him.
PVM: Admittedly hes been given limited chances, but never shown me anything to get excited about.

Very uninspiring but to be honest after listening to Warnock on Sky sports on Sunday I really didn't expect much else. Great he's building a squad but our first 11-15 look very threadbare at the moment and some positions (R&L back) really do require urgent strengthening
