Sweet jesus thats a poor turn out! Although the fact we are charging probably not far off the average weekly wage up there for 1 game may have some say in why !

Hence the reason why 1000 tickets remain unsold.

Bolton will not bring enough fans down to sell out their allocation anmd that will apply to many clubs.

About the only games that will sell out will be the London derby games and perhaps those clubs with a large following of London based fans i.e Man U, Man City, Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle and Sunderland.

Obviously these fools (T&C) don't appreciate the current financial problems suffered by many of us. We have wage cuts, pay freezes, rises in VAT, fuel prices and inflation in general. And then there are those who have lost their jobs, yet these two clowns seem to believe that football (and fans) are immune to all this.

Slightly early but ticket prices have been released for the away end. Centre- ?57 Off Centre- ?52 Corners- ?47 IAMUNDECIDED.

          priced out it seems.

Doubt there will be more than 5-600 Bolton.

Gotta say, it is insulting to charge what we do to visiting fans. But then we have to tolerate it every week. Shame on our club.

What's this booking fee, then?? So you have to pay to buy a ticket?? Cos thats waht it is - £3.50 on a £50 ticket is 7%. The £20 fan is a thing of the past - pretty soon it'll cost that just to buy a program. And some people wonder why some of us dont like the board?? Get real, they're bleeding us dry.

I didn't get charged with a booking fee on my Everton ticket.

The board recognise that for the big games we'll sell out, but they needed to pitch the price to allow for our titchy stadium, and to avoid over capacity, hence the 50%+ price hike on ST's and gate.

Interestingly, if the average entry cost was only £35, gate revenue for 18,000 is £630k
but if average entry price is £40, gate revenue for only 16,000 is £640k

So why should they care? It takes pressure off them by killing the argument for a new stadium, but in reality, they are just pricing out those fans that can't afford it anymore and replacing with newby's that can.

So this means that our fan base and capacity is being artificially manipulated by the club.

Thats bang on mate. And its the reason Bernie is worth billions! He couldnt care less about us Average Joes and whether or not we can afford to go or not. All he sees is a bit of paper produced for him by some consultant he's probably paid £50k of our money for to tell him what ticket price will make him the most money, and on that the bottom line figure of (using thr above example) £640k against £630k is all he cares about and he'll say "yep, go with that".

And no amount of protests/angry forum comments/songs aimed at him are going to change that.

Football Is a very simple game. Two clubs versus 1 another, both hav a set of supporters. I know the less fans they have might give us more then an edge but personally I'd like to see a a full away end. Makes good atmosphere and in the prem it should be sold out.... That fact that our club is making that to hard for some fans makes be sick. We will be hated cause of this and I hope other fans learn that its a f1 supremo helping to ruin the game. A MULTI BILLIONAIRE
