  • Bolton NOT sold out! Should we be suprised and what is the marketing department doing

Must say that despite all that's gone on I am still suprised that there are still 1000 tickets available for Saturday.

I guess that Bolton won't sell all of their 1800 allocation so we can't expect more than 16500 which is disappointing but reflects the general apathy surrounding the club.

So it's about time the marketing department at QPR started to earn their wages and build on the obvious excitement which playing in the EPL should bring instead of relying on the "product" to sell itself. The fact is that T & C have done just about everything they can to put a damper on our promotion and we do not (currently) have a large enough loyal fanbase to sustain the level of match day support needed to achieve success (however that is defined).

It makes the need for a win on Saturday even more important to get some momentum going as we should be selling out just about every home game having been out of the top division for so long!

I live in Guernsey and I'm flying over for the game. Tickets went on general sale last Monday so I got my cousin to queue for me last week to buy me a ticket. I was so surpried when he said there was no one in the queue at 9am and I'm even more surprised that there are still 1000 tickets left now a week later.

I really can't believe that price. Fair play to vblock and others for paying that. Top fans who wil pay that. Let's hope for a win.

. It really is bordering on daylight robbery! Best part of a tonne just to get through the turnstiles, plus your transport, food, drink, programme etc its a f00king expensive day! Top man for paying that Vblock, gotta admire that!

For me as a 16-21 member its costing £28 plus £3.50 booking fee for Newcastle ticket (in Bronze), which luckily isnt too bad, but for my mates old man to come and sit with his pal in B block its costing him £45 plus 3.50 booking fee!

Ive played devils advocate on here before now with regards prices but it really is scandolous how much its going to cost to follow the R's at home this year! The fact that Everton, an established PL club, only charge £31 for an adult really does highlight how out of touch T&C are with the fans.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
