  • Over half The Mails pundits think we'll survive.

Seven out of thirteen of The Mails pundits think we'll handle life in the top league, which I must admit,is more than I thought.
Those who think we'll be relegated are,Michael Walker,Dominic King,Chris Wheeler,Andy Townsend,Martin Keown, and Neil Moxley. Those lovely people who think we'll survive are,Matt Lawton (Chief Football Correspondent),Ian Ladyman (Northern Football Correspondent),Matt Barlow,Laura Williamson (good girl),John Edwards,Sam Mokbel and Colin Young.

I know its only personal opinions, but it's nice to see that some (in the case of The Mail, the majority),are behind the lads.

They're either a little more or a little less than half right

They reckon we'll finish 14th (bit optimistic but hey I'd love that!)

Maybe they've looked at the quality of the team and not just based their opinion on the metric of money spent.... or if they dislike Warnock like those #####s in the Guardian and Telegraph yesterday.

Get a couple of decent defenders and we will be a pretty decent outfit.... Especially at a packed Loft. Not many teams will look forward to going there....

          The R's are staying up

I think we'll stay up too. Not surprised at all.

Did you know? No side has waited more than QPR’s 15 years to return to the Premier League after getting relegated.

Either shouts that we have been slow and sluggish to get back there and that its long over-due or if you look at it the other way, those teams that have gone down and not back up quickly have struggled and were out of their depth so to get back is a great achievement. I think we're somewhere in the middle.

Unless I am wrong, also since the birth of The Premier League we are the 1st club to have been relegated to the 3rd tier to make it back to The Premier League.

Thought Norwich went down to league 1 a few seasons back? Might be wrong.

Didn't Man City end up down in League One for a spell?

Hate to be pedantic (ok I love it) but both Oldham and Swindon dropped out in 1993/94 two years before us and are still climbing the greasy pole without success; that's 17 years so far.
