We have bought better strikers than both Norwich and Swansea and we have strengthen in the main area that we have desperately needed and wanted for years...

Yes we could and need to spend more.. However we are not that far off being able to stay up I all honestly believe..

Routledge hasn't yet hacked it in the prem, Graham cost far to much and has had one good season.

Norwich have signed one good player, and hes a ****ing right back nothing special.

That's not a rant mate - just rational common sense all back up with a dose of reality - just some people prefer to plan for doomsday on here - I like the way you say "yet" when it comes to WR, like things are likely to change for him this season

You slate Norwich's squad but they were class last year and play quality football at times! To say they'll finish bottom is a tad naive to me. Think they definitely have more of a chance at surviving then Swansea who I think will get relegated!

If we had signed the players Norwich have done i would wave the white flag, swansea have signed some decent players but i still think we have a better team. Wigan have lost their best player, newcastle are in turmoil and have not signed anyone. We have a good chance of surviving .

I agree with everything you say. The main worry amongst fans is our defence. I for 1 am not worried as I believe they all punched above their weight last season. The reason for this? Warnock! We kept so many clean sheets when we had no right to. I see no reason why the same won't happen this year. Them die hard last ditch tackles and blocks will keep us up! I truly think Warnock is worth at least 4 positions in the table to us.

Grant holt is not the best footballer in te world but is a clever 1. We need to fear every1. There will not be 1 game which is easy. Qpr, Norwich and Swansea are very similar IMO. Forget other sides and concentrate on ourselves

No ranting there fella, just plain old common sense. People are judging a squad by how much teams have spent and not on the actual players ability. We had a better squad last season than both of those sides and we have signed better players whilst spending less money. We need to worry about one other Premiership side as that is who we need to finish above. Norwich and Swansea will make up the bottom 2 and we'll finish 17th. Who the other side that goes down will be anyones guess from between Blackburn, Wigan & Wolves?

Lineker and Phillips did not have much style either, they just knew where the goal was. Graham and Hollt will shock a few on here me thinks.
