    I see that people are saying this is a record transfer fee for us - but is it?
    The press release says "a three year deal worth £3.5m" - I suspect that it means - transfer fee + wages, for example, say, £20000 per week = £3m + £1/2m transfer fee.

    it could be that its been worded to sound more like a straight £3.5 million fee, when its not, however - i think the main point is that at least a couple of million has been splashed on a player, and this shows some ambition, and some encouragement, whther its £1million, 2, or £3.5mil

        No matter what...some fans are never happy and will continue to pick holes or make their own conclusions.

          why do our fans have to do this? to me the fee isnt important, the important thing is the board have signed somebody, and we have signed somebody sought after, someone who was a target of clubs bigger than us. that is where the ambition is shown, not in how much he cost
