And if I remember correctly, we wore narrow hoops in that game. After the 0-5 defeat we switched back to wider hoops for the next game I believe....so having seen the supposed new home kit let's hope it's not a bad omen!!!Comment

Was actually 0-4 against Everton at the start of the 76-77 season and lost 1-5 at home the following season. These results after we had stuffed them 5-0 in 75-76. Starting off some strangely large scores over the years against the Toffeemen, including a run of three memorable hat-tricks by Sinton, Ferdinand and Bradley Allen.Comment
