    I can understand why we are saddled with other overpaid useless turds like Vine and Agy due to the incompetent waiter but why oh why oh why give Cerny another year.

    Flaps, scared to come out, zero confidence, doesn't Marshall defence and shot stopping ability he once had as a slight redeeming factor been dwindling away for ages.
    The work of NW or the hand of others at play with his extra year?

        He hasn't played regularly for god knows how long, what can you expect? But I agree, glad Murphy is signing as our number 2

          You know you're right - I do trust him implicitly.
          Just got a sneaky the extra year may not have been NW's doing.

          Upon reflection I keep my piece and we may yet see another GK on the bench ahead of the Kitten.

                I suspect he was given a new 1 year contract for 3 reasons -

                NW doesn't rate Putnins, or has concerns over him in the Prem.

                He thinks Murphy is good enough to vie with Cerny as cover for Kenny who is beyond a long term favourite of his.

                Having only a £1.25m budget for new players means if we'd have spent on a new Keeper we would not be employing DJ Campbell this week.
