  • Loftus road

Could our ground be a big help to us next season , what with it being so tight ,
Passing teams might struggle , as I can see Warnock getting the players right in the oppositions faces . What was fulham record like when they used our ground on the premier league ? Anyone know ?

Bothroyd described our ground as a cauldron which I thought was spot on

Best way to describe it and if we can pack it out every game it will only better our chances

With the fans right up close with the players, the loud atmosphere and our small pitch I think teams will fear Loftus Road!

Away players like playing at LR, because the fans are so close -- well, that's what Championship level players used to say.
Whether the Prem egos will like it quite so much is another matter.
How much would Rooney be unsettled if someone a metre away from him shouted "Grandma, what big t*** you have!" right in his ear?
It's a myth that players block out things shouted from the crowd -- can't remember which one, but one of our players said they can hear every word at LR and have to learn to deal with the negative stuff -- but some never do and some oppo players have been unsettled in great fashion in the past; Leon Knight with the chants about his mummy and his school lunchbox really got to him.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

I knew someone would pick up that baton and run with it!
Hopefully lots of front-row people can wind him up big time.

most teams look for their home games to count. we have a tight/small pitch with hopefully everyone getting behind the team.will be a major factor.lose too many(or draw) games and we're going down. the buzz of the crowd will depend on what the clowns in charge do for the club-an unsettled crowd sounds just as large!!!!!

was quite friendly with Richard Shaw when he played for Crystal Palace.I remember him telling me that he found Loftus Road quite intimidating and yes you can hear every word

Although the atmosphere wasn't as bad as many would suggest after games (IMHO) - it certainly wasn't loud last season, so we will need a big change in fan bahavior to intimidate anyone over the age of 6.

TBH for a team that was virtually TOP all season the atmosphere wasn't great and in some games it was non existent
