Good to get him off the wage bill - or more likely, half off it - but it does beg the question why we re-signed him. Dyer now seems to be first choice right back, we have Orr in reserve and Connolly can also play there. And don't say we need him as centre back because we have half a team of centre halves. All a bit odd.
