Quality player with a top quality attitude. Needs to play centre back his natural position. Do you not recall his outstanding performance in our 2-0 win at Selhurst in Warnock's first game back there ?
If true good luck Peter - top professional and bloke.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
He's decent. Good enough for top championshi teams. You will hear a lot of fans on here saying he's turd, because their dad said he was turd for the first few games and he became a boo boy. But, he has heart. Which is what you need in the championship. Personally, I think he is staying with us in the Prem.
Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
Showed promise at CB and a fine upstanding citizen.
But if he's brought in at RB as a replacement for someone of Clynes ability, I think you'll notice a big difference.
How long is Clyne out ? I'm guessing less than a month ?
This might be an interesting precursor to what might happen at the end of the month.......if we get further investment which is looking less likely by the day.
People let there heart over rule their heads when it come's to Peter,He's a top bloke but not a very good footballer. That horror show away at Swansea still haunts me...............
As said before always gives 100%, top bloke and he looked really good as C/B IMO.
Lacks match fitness. It's a shame to say it but he isn't good enough for our squad anymore, really like his attitude.
Good signing for palace though
Fracking ignore any negativity. It comes from him being shaky for us when he was played out of position.
A damned good centre back. Doesnt have the pace for the prem i'd say albeit, in pre season training he was one of the best on the old bleep test thingy.
Not comfortable at right back though.
As others have alluded to...Peter is a ****ing nice bloke and an absolute model professional.
He will give any team 100% from start to finish and would run thru bloody brick walls for you. Would seriously improve your team and probably morale/team spirit etc etc. Personally think I'd like to keep him at QPR though and see what he can do as a squad player in the prem..has enough experience to be worth a shot for us
hope your club have plenty of shirts, he gives his away every game, top bloke. Dave, sign up for my competition, you'd get some lovely flak if you won it. Only got 8 so far, can I get another 12 people please to make up some decent numbers?
