  • how many points did routs win us last season?

Now this isn't a moan about him going to Swansea but actually a serious question.

Just watching the season review on sky and he got the winner against reading, 2 goals against sheff u and the goal against hull.

I can see why he's wanted in the prem
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

Completely impossible to quantify..by scoring the goal doesn't mean you won the points..for instance would routledge have scored the winner against cov (i think) had adel not produced one of the greatest passes ever sen at loftus rd!

for wayne routledge see jay simpson 12 months previous

      its a team game.

as ellerslie says we've moved on...

And without Jamie Mackie we wouldn't have gone - what was it - 19 games unbeaten at the start of last season?

But WR is a better player and fit for the EPL whereas Mackie is a wannabe 2nd rate championship player at best?!

As someone already said, we've moved on.

Pointless comment. WHy would he? Thats been and gone. Do you read any articles on QPR? Hes said how hes excited for the new season, having the time of his life and raring to go back in the bigtime.

If he was after a 3 year deal at 25k a week plus add ons I'm glad they said no. He was blooming brilliant for us last year, but we have moved on. Bet he isn't in Wales for 3 years!

so because its been and gone does that mean it never happened then? maybe Warnock has just shrugged his shoulders and accepted the lack of backing then? specially as he says so in the papers..lol

Farmed out on loan to West Ham/Leicester/Forest in January after being kept out of the team by Sinclair and Dyer...

Exactly. Don't get me wrong he gave us a boost at the right time last year but i have him down as having attitude.... He has been at alotno clubs for his age. Maybe some managers dont like him, think nw did tho

As 3London says it's impossible to ever work out. If we hadn't signed him who's to say that someone else wouldn't have still scored the goals or made the assists he did? Who's to say that player might have actually scored more and created more.

No one will ever know. All that matters is as a team and a squad we won promotion.

I find it quite worrying when people start looking at how many points a player won us,what about the points he cost us with poor misses, bad passes, poor control etc etc.Yes he did do some good things for us and Reading will stay in my mind for a long time but in his own words (and i wish i could find the link)he thought although he had scored a few goals his whole game was sub standard and i also remember him scoring 2 goals in a game and supporters saying apart from his goals he had a poor game.I am not so sure he will be a big loss, remember he done it in the championship the prem is a much bigger fish to fry and can he cut it ???
