Always thought Martin Rowlands would have been a perfect right back, great tackler, fairly good in the air and was pacey - shame his injuries got in the way.

Not sure in Dyer is quick enough now or was ever a good tackler and marker.

Should have kept leigerwood (apologies for spelling) he was brilliant cover for right back.

Saw Dyer play right back in one of the games in Italy and he looked quite good. More pace than Orr and will give us more going forward.

Thought MR used to over reach in the tackle and that's how he injured himself a few times. KD if fit would leave MR standing in a foot race

Shame about Rowly his face just don't fit with Neil.

i said this when he signed. remember dyer playing as a sort of wing back in his early career and even for england. wouldnt be my first choice but would def be more pace than orr, although i think left back is more of a concern than right back

Dyer in the Kyle Walker role?
does he have the legs anymore to get back? and can he defend?

Still very pacey, thought I was watching walker in one of the Italian friendlies.

....then again QPR could go out and BUY some defenders instead?

I would rather Rowlands as right back to be honest.

This is getting embarrassing, just shows how short we are on players and lack of progress within the club
