Yes Kit. They were going to rip the league apart, not to mention they were going to tear new ones for our entire defence. They would be champions whilst we languished in lower mid table. Our tawdry defenders were to be humiliated and beaten for pace over and over again - best defence in the division as it turned out.
But to support the opposite arguement, we did get bashed to pieces by Watford and Scu nny No it doesn't back up that case by the way, it just shows that everyone can have a bad day at the office

What do you mean weve got HH, aguemang, and Pellicori....only Bothroyd is half decent and he will not be our saviour.

Sorry but have to somewhat agree with Kingy ... Is giving Aygemang, Ramage,shittu etc new contracts the way forward...

Don't wholly disagree with the freebie signings along with DJ, but is that what we should really be aiming for with our 'owner's' combined wealth ...

That said I am quite happy with those signings and just because they're free doesn't make them bad players...

Just feel that they could have done a lot more ... We are still woefully short of wing backs (in fact we dont have any) and IMO (Gabbidon aside if he can stay fit) have a surplus of average centre backs.

The squad does need more strengthening, but in fairness the window is still open ... More players are most definately needed ....

Our owners intentions will become more evident in this coming couple of weeks ....
