  • would you really gamble our club's future again?

    although little spent in fees
wages and agents fees will be huge...now we are approx £30m in debt, with few assets and it;s rising
do we gamble (again) on a prem campaign or try to budget..however hard on a 18000 capacity...corporate has brought in much revenue, so will tv
but as a "club" we cannot sustain the dream, without debts mounting ( whether or not under written, you get that money from the signee)
yep, other clubs are spending but so are their debts, without a sugar daddy like dave whelan wigan would have closed years back....fulham are scraping by but have huge debts.
the club/board have finally strengthened but full backs are always an issue and i cannot see what cerny, ramage or some others in the squad will do in the prem lge...popular players like shittu, cook and rowly could go
why are vine and borrowdale at the club, add pellicori and alberti to them??
tofas?? all drawing wages....why did we pay mahon for no games last season??hahahahahaa

i'd like to see an fa academy for qpr youth and the first team need a training ground to meet prem standards....when we produce decent quality players we can then sell on, hopefully for good fees. these would be short term plans, long term....a main sponsor to fund a new ground or major development of loftus road.

I agree with you. Until we use our competitive advantage of our location next to westfield and close to the west end, and produce substantial non-matchday revenue, as well as sell more than 18k seats, we will not be able to compete financially, and survival in the premier league is unsustainable due to player wage levels.

We need a visionary with an eye for a large property deal on the BBC site, to build hotels/offices/flats to subsibidise our finances. Would need a lot of investment/borrowing, but our new assets would negate borrowing on the balance sheet. We haven't made a profit since I can remember, and how long can that continue for?
