      I think the show of intent will suddenly make other players considering a move, that QPR are a viable option. If I was Cox for example, I might be thinking twice about going to WBA

            Don't think its pointless at all ...pretty much spot on actually ....£3.5m would have got us proven CCC quality in Ben Watson last summer ...now we have spent it on an unknown 2nd Division Argie.

                i think its a fair point that big dave makes,jim magilton has never been able to buy and sell players.he has to pay massive transfers for average players
                this boy will be no better than rutledge,but why cant we bid 2-5 million for cox

                    It doesnt mention anything on the offy about him being the 'New Record Signing' so its not likely to be 3.5m upfront,will be structured based on apps,goals etc
