Last year 40 points were required for safety, but the year before 31 would have seen you safe: I think this year (my guess) will be that our home record will be Win 7, Draw 5 and Lose 7 and away will be Win 3 Draw 4 and Lose 12 giving us a total of 39 points..... Just safe!

I expect us to get absolutely stuffed a few times, lick our wounds and come back out fighting. Ugly kid Dowie phrased it as bouncebackability and I reckon Warnock will have it ground into this side.
We will compete on a pretty level playing field with the bottom third sides and cause an upset or two as well.
All in all, the most important thing will be how we react to the bad results - and I reckon we will do enough to survive because I believe we are stronger than Swansea and Norwich and can match at least 2 of the rest.#standuptocancer

If DJ, Murphy and Puncheon are our only signings before the transfer deadline, we've got very little hope. Be good if we get Austin- I rate him from what little I've seen. And I suppose we could strengthen in January. If Taarabt in particular, Faurlin and Hall stay fit most of season we could surprise a few. As things stand, even with Austin if we get him, I expect us to finish 20th with @ 30 points.Comment

I can see us getting a lot of draws TBH, 0-0's and 1-1's and with a bit of luck just about survive the drop.
