Well said about the last sentence.

I stopped playing computer games when I was kid, I base what I've heard from various consistent reports, friends of QPR and in Newcastle etc.

Now whilst what you say is right the majority of what is posted at times is that of pure speculation, it is after all a football forum and whilst I am unable to produce a wage slip or email communication regarding WR's finances I will speculate what I think is correct.....but I guess you knew all this already, but thought you'd try to be a smart a.rse.

I'm not asking for miracles, but surely we shouldn't be getting outbid by Swansea.
Why not? Are you suggesting that we are a bigger club than Swansea?

Routledge has clearly signed for a club that he is not too bothered about. They may have offered another 10K a week which swayed the deal. 10K a week is a lot of money when you're only used to 25K a week playing in a team and for a club and for a manager that suit him down to the ground, he says sarcastically...

Not necessarily - they have a bigger and better stadium than us and consequently have bigger crowds. We have more of a history in the top flight than Swansea - but it's got absolutely nothing to do with who is "the bigger club".

With the calibre of owners we've got I would have expected enough investment in the team to guarantee premier league survival. I would like to see us at least competing with teams like Stoke, Bolton, Fulham, not slugging it out down the bottom of the table against Norwich, Swansea, Wigan etc. I don't think that asking to sign Danny Graham, WR, or to stump up the loan fee for Kyle Naughton is too much to ask for a newly promoted club with owners who are some of the richest people on the planet. This isn't exactly asking for miracles, I know we're not going to be signing Rooney or paying anyone £100k per week.

The reason I am frustrated is that we have been out spent by Norwich and Swansea and on the face of it lost two of NW's targets to Swansea and one to Norwich because of a lack of backing. This is nothing to do with who is perceived as the bigger club, or us having some sort of divine right to better players than those teams - it's to do with losing out on players that NW wanted to teams who will be perceived as being our likely rivals in a relegation scrap.

                    Routledge "wanted to come back"

Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

“We lost out on Routledge and you've got to have a different plan for certain games, particularly away from home.

"Certainly Routledge showed that pace can help, and I think you need that as well. He wanted to come back but it's one of those things.

Also proves that we were indeed in for him, despite some on here trying to convince others otherwise.

would have been a much needed addition tho...we needed his pace but the board wouldnt back Warnock.

The QPR summer transfer has been so disappointing.

                            Bring on the mighty Puncheon....
