Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
really can't see this happening - is Wayne R. didn't make the cut in terms of "spend a bit more on a good player" I can't see the board forking out for astronomical fees for Joe. I'd fel uncomfortable cheering a team knowing that 1 player is getting paid so much more than everyone else - in all honesty, wouldn't want him for that reason.

Have a word. That's life.
If I'm better at my job than others on my firm, I'd fully expect to be paid more. Same with people higher up than me...if they are more skilled, I expect them to be paid more.

Let's be honest though, if he comes (doubtful) one thing we WILL know for certain is we are not paying him that much. Hence why I don't see a deal but I'd love it to be true. He's quality and given a good run I believe he can get back to his best or not far from it.
joe cole would be a excellent signing but cant see our board forking out the dosh for his wages i really cant! As ive already said we only seem to do cheap at the moment!
