No chance hammer, facto is just jesting. Our ted is old school, and has been battered and bruised but even u must respect our top boys hammer. We have a few tough nuts, maybe not as many as west ham but teams like plymouth and shrewsbury please that's just disrepectful. I offered 3 plymouth fans out when they were acting hard and talked about upsetting the locals, they soon changed there views
DISRESPECTFUL..??
Not at all,i was responding to factos comments of taking ends and plymouth shrewsbury mentioned thereafter...as i said SURELY NOT...you have a pecuilar way of twisting things and saying things that people(including me) NEVER SAID ..my advice to you is read things more carefully before you respond.I do respect your top boys, many being friends of mine....
I won't be chilled when u keep giving it out. U talk like I'm some IT expert, yet the truth is I was putting in big tackles and elbows in the ryman league when u were probably at textiles night school. I may well have it wrong but I'll show u respect when u show me some. Cheers bigdave, yeah just put some troublemakers in there place

well there have been so many really strange things at football, but hammer wasnt taking the micky here he was saying surely shrewsbury didnt take the loft.
I ONCE WAS GETTING CRUSHED BY THE MAN UTD IN THE PADDOCK.WHEN I STARTED SWEARING AT THEM INSTEAD OF GIVING ME A KICKING
THEY ALL BACKED OFF AND THEY STOPPED SHOUTING ABUSE AT QPR
so its like weare was saying,if you stand your ground mostly the opposition backs off

hammer tis true reguarding plymuff n shrewsbury.........friday night fa cup tie(won 3-0) plymuff had a good 200+ chaps in the top cornr of loft and shrewsbury(another fa cup tie) ran us back into the loft from outside and stayed there.........tis stuff of leg end in the young farmers/incest clubs of shropshire!!
cant remember plymouth or shrewsbury taking the loft, thats not to say it didnt happen, maybe i just wasnt at those games
but man utd took it in 68-69 i never ever saw anybody take it like they did
when chelsea or west ham took it,there was always a space in the loftus road end either at the side or at the front
but never ever again did anybody else do what man utd did in them days
chelsea would bring about two thousand skinheads and take out the whole top end
but these man utd first sent in five hundred so the police threw a cordon between us leaving about ten feet
then five hundred more man utd came in and stood at the uncordoned side of us,the police run out of resources so orderd us to go the front of the loft
but abother two thousand man utd suddenly poured into the end,now in fairness to the man utd they were not being aggresssive towards us
but then yet another two thousand man utd poured into the loft end,so me and many of the old loft boys we decided to exit the loft
some went top the half way line but i went up the other end,and it was here
that i saw the most amazing site ever at the loftus road end the man utd had taken about 90 per cent of the end, with something ridiculous like about 6 thousand of there fans,IN THEM DAYS EVERY CLUB USED TO SING YOUR NEVER WALK ALONE and when they all put there red scarfs up ive never seen
anything like it,it looked a trully amazing site, that year all the london clubs except tottenham took the loft, including arsenal, but it didnt really matter because it was our first ever season in the top flight,so we didnt care we were so proud to be in that division
in contrast i think the biggest ever home support for the rangers was at home
to palace when we won 6-o can i ask any other posters who want to add to this thread to try to keep this cas a non hooligan thread because this thread isnt about hooliganism its about,MASSIVE SUPPORT
with out any hesitation our biggest ever away support was in 67-68 when we took 167 coaches away to villa park, the villa fans couldnt beleive it
never ever was the holt end ever going to be taken like it was that day
the holt end held 25 000 but what the villa didnt know was we had brough 25 000 so can you imagine there surprise as 25 000 londoners poured into the villa end, have any of you qpr fans got any memories of fanatical support
either qpr or opponents
Ted..you're real old skool and that to be respected....the days of those numbers travelling for QPR are over but i'd loved to have been there.....167 x 52 coaches...wow!!!
Although we are a relitivly small club (in thegrand scheme) because of our location and supporters, we deffinately have a following as fanaitcal as many big clubs...
the holt end was the biggest ion the country and hels @40k..to get 25k qpr up there is a massive dream...
qpr have always had a fanatical following we once took massive numbers to cardiffs ninian park giving the third division south its biggest ever attendance
of 40 000 also we have the second division record at tottenham when 67 000
people attended but as you say brisbane we are not a massively supported team as our average attendance will testify
but its so very marvelous to see a massive turn out
brisbane dont know whether you went to the millenian but that really was one of those fantastic days, imagine 40 000 fans traveling up the m4 it was so amazing, there was so many limozines and cars with qpr flags on them
wow wow wow
