And you know that because you've watched so much of him. Routledge is a EPL flop - never achieved with any single team he's played for but has signing on fees galore and is costing £2M plus with big wages on top. “We need a wide player, obviously Wayne Routledge looks like joining Swansea, and we’ve been looking at Jason Puncheon,” Warnock told London24. “He’s someone who has done really well, he’s exactly the sort of player I like, he’s pacy and direct, someone with something to prove, a player with a bit of hunger, we need players like that at QPR this season. He’s a player we’ve been looking at, so now we need to see what happens in the next 10 days or so.”
and towards the end of last season you will find many interviews where Warnock implies that he intends to make Rout's loan permanent..go look.
Simple fact is Warnock was not given funds to get Routledge but the billionaires will spare him £450k and he should count himself lucky.Comment
