Not that I'm not grateful he's signed (?) but remember before we go too overboard that aside from one decent(ish) season at relegated Blackpool, Campbell's career has been patchy (Yeading, Brentford, bombed out of Leicester).

Good signing. Really is that simpleUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

You have to realise we're not getting players like Crouch, Keane here.
Stop moaning mate.

Personally wasn't convinced by Graham but would have preferred him to Campbell. With a little loosening of the purse strings, players in the vein of Shane Long, Ebanks-Blake and Cameron Jerome should have been attainable.

Credit me with a bit of sense.
Campbell (and Puncheon) are puffed up League 1 players who "may" get away with being able to do a job in the PL short term. I suspect though over the course of a season and a half, they can't sustain it. This is why no other PL clubs tried to buy them.
Apology if my opinion on what constitutes a decent player differs from yours.

Also Puncheon is £1m cheaper than Routs and have proved himself, thats a great deal for Qpr too if it goes through.
We have a serious businessman knocking on our door to invest in our club, we're almost rid of T&C.
We're in the Premiership and have nothing to loose.
To sum up: As I see it, it's happy days for a QPR fan.
