I think he has a bit of a bad attitude aswell, think that's why they want him out,but that's where Warnocks man management comes in

Did see an article the other day saying he has agreed a wage of £25,000 a week with Swansea. Not the cheapest in the world but if Vine got £17,000 a week then I don't think Waynes pushing the boundary too much.

Push out a couple of players (cookie, rowly, vine ect) and you'll easily make up the wage budget. Am I right in saying our wage cap is 25k anyway?

Come on how many honestly think Routs is worth over 2mil, Punch is going to cost about half mil in cash ,is Routs really that much better I doubt it

I'd agree, but that really is beside the point. The main cause for concern is to do with the fact that Neil wanted Wayne, and just wasn't backed.

The qualities Neil always mentions that he looks for in a player are "hunger" and "have something to prove".

Many here were proved wrong in doubting his judgement on Derry, Hill, Mackie, Helguson etc, and no doubt they'll be proved wrong again.

Anyone else see Mackie slotting in at RB next season?

We need to be concentrating on "worrying" the likes of Swansea, Blackburn, Wigan and Norwich and, IMO, Puncheon (3 PL goals in 11 matches last season) and Campbell (13 PL goals- more than Drogba, Torres and Rooney) are more than capable of worrying their defences.

If your interested in worrying Man Utd and Arsenal then feel free to write a letter (complete with hearts for dots on the i's) to Flavio and/or Bernie and request we put in a bid for Lionel Messi.
Exactly - Wolves beat a couple of the big boys last season - but if they'd beaten Wigan and West Ham they'd have been safe with games to spare

This has been touted a couple of times. Joking aside, it could be worth a look, if that's the option we're left with.

My only issue is his tackling.

As a defender that more be the flaw in the plan.

Could possibly get away with it for a couple of games but think would get found out defensively very quickly. Wouldn't be for the lack of effort though.

Can see him being swapped with Orr with one match to deal with a pacy winger and retaining the position. Kyle Walker not a great tackler either but still the best FB at Rangers since Clive Wilson.

Dyer played right back during the tour of Italy so he could be an option there.

The focus for a defender at present should be LB IMO not a RB
