  • Slowly but surely are we getting our act together or not?

Quite a long way to go yet of couse but at last we seem to slowly making progress in an attempt to make an impact in the Premier

Bothroyd,Dyer and Campbell are decent signings and hopefully we will pick another couple up very soon and we played well enough against Braga and Atalanta even though they were friendlies of course

A possible injection of cash coming as well so my glass is slightly just over half full at the moment

The walk up prices still stink though

in the not too distant past fixtures against scunthorpe/rushden n diamonds and hartlepool were on the agenda..........the emirates/anfield/ot and villa park are on the horizon so im gonna enjoy the season even with relegation back to the npower more than likely.....but you just never know with qprfc!!

I dont know enough about puncheon to comment but DJ and Jay are good signings and more than make up for the missed signing of Graham, with Adel behind i see goals!

I see Faurlin as key and Paddy will need another top signing - things arent right behind everything and how much can NW take,

        its a huge season

i hope we can come above Norwich, Swansea & Wigan i think we need a few more faces yet!

Cant get my head around Routledge!! in my opinion this is a joke, Naughton is strange too but if we get the city full back it will make up for it

Ever the optimist, i think were in a great position tbh. Yes, people can say all they like about the proposed takeover and make up all sorts of conculsions and conspricies, but we've signed Bothroyd, Dyer and DJ for the grand transfer fee total of £1.25mill.... absolutley brilliant business in my eyes. People say what they like about Dyer being injury proned etc, but for a free transfer a player thats spent years in the PL and has 33 England caps to his name is a great signing to me. Add into the equation Buzz, Adel, Smith, Faurlin, Kenny and we have a very strong side. Yes, I feel we need a couple more additions, namely a full back and competition / replacement (depending how he fairs) for Derry, but the team spirit and Warnock factor will help us no end.

But were about to embark on our 1st PL campaign for 15 years (yes tickets are grossly overpriced for those readers that need something negative to read) and weve got NW at the helm and potential money coming in (if reports of this £10mill for players is true). We could well have Onouha coming in frmo City on loan and,if he does, I for 1 will be lumping money on us for survival! Theres at least 72 other clubs in the country that would swap places with us in a instant so I think we should all enjoy the ride

Until FB & GP are gone we are always likely to implode at any given moment. On the pitch 1969 all over again - would absolutely love to be proved wrong but we are looking like cannon fodder at the moment.

Yes we are slowly getting there and not only have we donne some very good business this summer we have added real good Premiership experience to the ranks which is more than what Swansea and Norwich have done.

We are building a team to stay up and the way things are starting the shape up with a couple quid spent by Fernandez we could quite comfortably do it.

We nearly have a squad fit for the PL

Some things blow - prices for one, and then the sting of paying those prices for Neil to be given absolutely no money to spend.

But I'm starting to believe we can survive. I really am.

Not least cos every armchair sky sports fan is writing us off, saying we'll be a disaster. ****ing love backs against the wall, us against them **** - BRING IT ON, LET'S ****ING DO THIS
A blog of my first season ticket, and QPR's return to the Premiership after 15 years

Fair play to you mate. Good post. I share some of your optimism until I realistically look and try and name 3 teams I'd be confident of beating and I honestly cannot name 1 let alone 3. That's when the fear strikes.....

warnock should have been given more but there is a light at the end of the tunnel now-feeling much more positive. reckon 2/3 more might come in to bolster us also.

Good post, I agree with you. We just need to seal DJ, Puncheon and 1 or 2 defenders, then I'm more than happy.

I would add Fulham and West Brom to that list.
