Don't be dopey mate, he is letting things go as I suppose he sees the bigger picture.
T&C gone and Paladini soon after, then he can get back to working with amit and Ishan.
He walked out at the 1st sign of trouble at Palace. Don't get me wrong, it was for the right reasons, but he's got more of those reasons to walk out, if your mates rumours are to be believed.

You can't have it both ways, Jeff. You can't just believe he'll grin and bear it with Gianni, if he didn't at Palace. As I've always said, I'm not a Gianni fan, but I'd wager my annual take home that he's not taking it in the #### from the board. I'm pretty certain the man works well with the waiter you all hate.

Benny palace was totally different, that was about his lively hood, they couldn't pay his wages, and were close to going out of business. He had no choice.
We have a big future and investment, palace had nothing and still didn't get bought out till months after he left.

Not really mate. They were never going out of business, no matter what. If he'd stayed loyal, they'd probably be better off than us. He'd have kept them safe, and some. We are lucky that our board, including Gianni talked him into coming. Again, I'm no fan, but credit where it's due, yet so many are that against them, that no matter what...they'll never give them their dues.

              Every story and all that.

warnock stands to lose too much by jacking-is grinning and bearing it for obvious reasons. his book will make interesting reading when he retires(along with others).

All the money in the world doesn't guarantee success. It's all about the manager. Neil Warnock is a dying breed.

Despite me doubting what Jeffro has posted, content wise, I would add that I 100% believe he was told that info in good faith.

I would lob in though that, wrongly or rightly-thats another debate, some that dislike GP do like to spin yarns out to try and paint him in a bed(der) light. Who can forget the 4 Mercs story for starters!

But, seriously, GP against Neil? Honestly, no frigging way is that true.

Forget the BS from Amit or the Mittals, indeed just forget them..all hot air, re them getting neil in. GP got Neil in..albeit he may have been swayed by the "hot air" from Amit and his mates.

GP, again, wrongly or rightly!, would want to protect himself by ensuring him and Neil DID get on. As, it took a lot to convince T&C to part with the money to get Neil in..remember we stole half palaces backroom staff as well!

You can accuse GP of a lot but, no matter what angle you look at this from, him stabbing NW in the back makes zero sense.

Please re read what I put, I don't doubt that they ever had a very good working relationship before, but they had a Massive falling out back end of last season, and it isn't all as rosy as people seem to think.
I expect though as Warnock's professionalism and Paladini unable to remove him as he has other managers will mean they carry on and hopefully repair any damage.

It's easy for hearsay to blow things up.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Jeffro, you're now really trying to put this across, mate. It's like you're really angling at the belief that Gianni is trying to out Neil. I have no facts, information, or vague rumours to post on the matter, but I have severe doubts that any of this is true, other than maybe a falling out which very likely was patched up. As I said, Neil is hardly the type of man to stand for any nonsense.

This really is starting to sound like another way to gun for Gianni. The man has made his own bed, and will have to deal with these types of agendas and witch hunts, but I'd rather wait and see before jumping on the bandwagon.

And so as we're clear, that last paragraph was not at all aimed at you, mate. You don't come across that way, but you can be sure that there are plenty buying into this story as in truth, they more want this to be the case, than genuinely believe it.

Got to say that for the most part this has been an interesting discussion conducted in a respectful manner by all posters to each other and may it continue

I have absolutely no doubt that Jeffro posted what he was told in good faith and to be honest I have no idea if the facts are true or not but the whole thread makes for a good read
