[QUOTE=Mellowhoop;671722]Where's jenas been mentioned?[/QUOTEI
If you scroll down you will see towards the end of the article it says warno is keen on jenas, bullard and the man city right back with the impossible name. But also says he hopes to complete the signing of Danny Webber - would you really do that if you were about to be given 10m big ones???

How is it possible for someone who's worth £200m including assets to buy 51% of the club.. If it's based on Bernie's valuation that his and Flabbyo's 66% share is worth £100m then it would have cost him around £80m for 51%
Then he's going to inject £10m in transfers! Does that mean the owners of the other 49% are also going to invest £10m ?
If we are running at a loss untill the prem/tv money comes through who's paying the bills ? Surely he's now responsible to pick up 51% of them..
If true that £200m has taken a hell of a bashing already and it all seems more than a little odd...
Lets say they valued the club at £100m including all the debt owed to them.
now Fenandez buys his 51% for for 51m + 10m investment in players 61m for a man of his wealth without backers is affordable, with backers very affordable.
But Briatore and Bernie are supposedly retaining a stake, which suggest rather strongly that debts to them are not going to be paid at this moment in time. So I would be willing to bet he has not paid any more than £30m for his stake.
Also wanted to point out the irony given where we were 5-6 years ago that we are complaining someone worth 1/4 billion does not have enough cash to own / run us. Its bizarre really and shows you how mad football's finances are

BUt he is a class act, anybody see his goal vs Chelski at Stamford Bridge last season? Top quality, he really would be a great signing IF true.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

One inaccuracy in that is that Fernandes never flew back to Hungary for the race.He missed his flight appara.
Sceptical with regards to a few things on this
a) Where is the money coming from and who's is it
b) Who else is involved? Was told that he was part of a consortium and part of that consortium were QPR
c) If it's a proportion of Bernie and Gianni's shares that he has purchased where does that leave the Mittal investment
d) Is this just a group of F1 buddies all with fingers in the QPR pie.
e) The ownership of Loftus Road. The loan that has to be paid back to Amit and Flavio keeps getting extended again and again. Who owns our biggest asset??
f) What shall I have for breakfast

Agree with Baz's last point, with bells on.
None of us know how the deal is structured. Just because Bernie wanted 100m, chances are he didn't get anything like it, and the payment might well be structured over donkeys years. Also possible that it was agreed a proportion of his investment was to go into transfer budgets - after all, if Bernie doesn't want to fund transfers and Flavio basically can't, you bring in someone else to do it and in return your dilute your equity in the business.
