After watching all the games in Italy some thoughts

Obviously they are friendlys so you have to allow for that,but opinions will have been formed by the management team and the fans,

Positives for me were Kenny,Faulin,Dyer,Bothroyd,Hall and i thought Buzz looked lively.Tarrabbt can of course still win the game in 1 pass

On the fence for Gabbidon,Perone,Connelly,Orr and Hill even though we know what the last 2 can play like abeit at a lower level.

Negatives and for me a big worry if we see to much of them Agyemang,Epraim and Gorkks,all look way short of what we want.

Smith still not sure, and even though it hurts me to say it Derry looks well short of pace and maybe past his best,

If DJ signs, upfront and midfield look fine,defence is a big concern.

Worrying thing is mate these are our "impact subs" to bring on and change a game! In the CCC they had a slight effect, but in the PL their guna have impact whatsoever!

Was it just me then, who thought Perone looked quite assured when he came on against Atalanta??

Not sure why i bother to log on here and read the rubbish spouted about our players...in a pre-season friendly.

Back to the message..... I did say it was just a friendly,however the management team will use what they saw to pick the formation and select the team.

If Gabbidon had been a trialist,from what they have seen in 2 better class matches i am not sure he would be signed,is he better than Hall,Gorkks,Shittu,Connelly and Ramage,i am not so sure.
