  • Can I just check something?

I'm not being antagonistic here...I'm genuinely asking a question:

Mittal is worth $31 Billion USD
Ecclestone is worth £2.5 Billion GBP
Flavio is worth $150 Million USD

This new guy is worth £130 Million GBP........Isn't this a step backwards?

Doesn't matter what Mittal and BE are worth if they arn't willing to part with any of it.

Im guessing that if this new guy gets 51% then we could see more activity from the Mittals.

Doesn't matter how much these people are worth (To an extent). It matters how the business and the club is run. That is what we need to worry about.

Ah.....So we forget about the sugar daddy a la Man City & Chelsea and get back to being the selling club we always were, when we had anything worth selling that is? I somehow can't see much investment coming from this new guy but I hope to be proved wrong.....Cheers!

After the fallout over Saksena' sacking and Amits' resignation, I guess there was no way Mittal could work with Bernie and Flavio.? I'm hoping this new guy Fernandes, can bring Mittal back on side, maybe re-instate Amit to the board and forge a working relationship to take QPR forward. We all know that Mittal is the money man, but does not have the time to run the club himself, but with a hefty stake in the club it would surely be in his interest to make QPR successful.

isnt it more worrying that this guy has made all his money by running a business that in essence all about keeping costs down and profits up? alsthe mike ashley model. also with the mittals a strange one , they have done business with bernie before but is their any link between fernandes and the mittals? cant see mittals as minority investors with people they dont know? not their style

                    470m$

IN the Wikipedia presentation of Tony Fernandes his wealth is estimated to be 470m$ as of August 2011, up from 330m$ last year.

How can you possibly know It's "not their style" to do business with people they don't actually know. In business you are often dealing with new clients. That is how a company grows.

Slightly different when your working together though. Mittal's wouldn't be buying from but trusting someone they don't know with their money.

Probably, cannot see the Mittals doing business with the little one, or vice versa.
Opinions are like A******s, everyone has one, but nobody wants to see the other guy's.

                              dont forget

dont forget that a man who had only 12 million in total built all new stands and bought so many brilliant players

so its not really how much money youve got

if this fernandes could pull top tallent from all over the world at budget pricess then he can sell the players on for massive profit

that really was the jim gregory technology buy a player aged about 22 then sell him aged 28 by then hes become a full international and is worth ten times what he origionally cost.....................its easy as ABC
