Could it be that he is waiting a new and improved offer from us due to changes at the board.
Alledgedly Fernandes had a talk with Warnock the other day.

Still looking at a pad in Harlington, near Graham's. I like the idea of sharing the commute.
          Your mum would love me...

From a close(ish) source to Routs, he wants to stay in London & he loved his time at the R's, whether that means he is holding out for an improved offer from us tho, your guess is as good as mine. He's not to keen on a move to Swansea so prob draggin it out to see if anything else comes along before signing for them.

Could it be that Fulham might want him as well?
                  I hope not.

All i've been told is that he'd rather be in London but if nothing better comes along then he'll prob sign for Swansea, after all he will get first team prem football there.

Thought he'd want almost guaranteed first team football - hard to see that with Swansea. They have 2 wingers that imo are better in Sinclair & Dyer

I'd be putting off moving to Swansea as well if I were him!

Routledge HAS never and WILL never cut it in the Premiership for whatever reason. He is a quality Championship player at best. Hence the reason that's where he always ends up SHINING

He cannot make the step up, always flattered to deceive unfortunately.

                            We need to do better.
