Derry is the Warnock spirit personified. For that reason he will be worth his place next season.

I think he will do ok and just about get by.

The defence is where we should be panicking as we will not keep a clean sheet all season with that back four.

i think its the full back areas in particular. ive never been a fan of bradley orr and as much as i think clint hill did well for us last season, this is a step too far for him imo. the centre backs i think will do ok, not saying they cant be improved on but lets be honest how many more signings will neil be able to make? i think the full backs are priority now.

The pun, also called paronomasia, is a form of word play which suggests two or more meanings, by exploiting multiple meanings of words, or of similar-sounding words, for an intended humorous or rhetorical effect.

                Hope this helps.

I'm undecided with regards to Derry in the Prem. It is a bit of a worry that we don't have a Plan B if he doesn't work out. Here's hoping a holding midfielder is on Warnocks shopping list now we have a new chairman!

Derry did well for us last year and I think his impact on the team and what ti acheived was more than just his visible impact on the field, he certainly surpassed my expectations of him which were fairly high to start with.

He is a year older now and stepping up a level, I dont think he will be good enough to hold down a regular place in a premiership team that avoids relegation. Thats not a knee jerk opinion but based upon his ability in comparison with players that we now have to consider him against in the teams we will be competing with this season.

I fear that Faurlin may also struggle although i think he has the potential to improve further where as Derry almost certainly doesnt.

Thats not to say I want rid of Derry i think he would be valuable as a sub and also generally within the squad for his grit and desire.
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
