I know Bolton are a lot more established than we are but Reo-Coker on a free (but prob highish wages) and Eagles for, what, £2m, is the sort of level of player I hoped we would be looking to attract in the Premiership.

I'd have loved Reo-Coker, but Eagles...I'm really not fussed. We can't afford another big time Charlie in the ranks.

Being in a takeover limbo must be the worst timing possible. It will be the reason we are relegated imo, sad but true.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

we are a good side. we penised all over the championship last season and with that points deduction hanging over the fans for a month or so, but the players since the start we still ran riot. we are a good side! we can stay up!! relegation is a possibility, but not a formality, surely?

Fair enough, though think Warno would soon sort that out. I meant tho that this was the LEVEL of player we might have expected. Talented players with Prem experience but going for relative bargains. If Gabidon and Dyer re-build their careers with us then Warno will look like a genius, but make no mistake these are risky, bottom of the barrel kind of signings that the likes of Reo-Coker and Eagles wouldn't have been. I was never expecting Crouch, Jenas etc but there was a middle way and sadly we haven't taken it.

I run this thread again later in the season for another debate on Eagles. Without a doubt 10x's better than Routledge and he's cost Bolton less than the £1.8 million Swansea were about to pay for him.

Run it every week, Dazzer. It'll still be a load of bowlocks.

He's never 10 time better. Ridiculous statement. How the f**k are you even meant to measure that?

Footballs about opinions. I'll stick to mine and you can keep yours. I'll also explain mine to you in a slightly better tone without chucking a f**king c**ting sh1t w@nking word in your direction. After all we are adults...

Dazzer mate your obsession with eagles is about as unpleasant as the one you have with squirrels .

No where near as good as you say, so i'm afraid I make benny right on this occasion. If you were at the Burnley home game, you must of forgot your glasses cause he was very ordinary.

Sounds like your level of competence. Let’s judge a player on one game to settle an argument then. I watched him I think 6 or 7 times last season and like what I saw. Think I’ll just blow over you last statement Mr I know everything....

Whe I say him last year he looked like a tricky player, Good passer of the ball etc etc.

Could be that he will shine in the prem. My only worry, lol. is his physique.

thought he looked class in championship, especially when he first left Utd. Wouldnt say 10times better than wayne but I agree he is better
