A fair assessment. Except for Hogan, he was there to run around as to what appeared to be a headless chicken in order to stop the Italians playing the Italian way which would be to pass and play around the team. He pressed the ball and got there more often than Derry The team play is lob sided with much of the play up through Smith who worked hard up and down and played well. However on the left we are weak because some peoples saviour does not track up and down or hug and get chalk on his boots (altough it is not how he likes to play out wide nor is he suited for it) and for that reason Hill was exposed too often. Must LB's would be in trouble for the same reason. Hard really to assess cameo subs, team stucture and hence play went to pot when the changes came, although PVM seemed to have something to offer if he can build up his core and upper body strength.

I see what you mean. Regarding the Hill and Tarabbt situation, I would hope that Taaarabt will have to track more back when season starts.

Hill really needs help. I hope Warnock will sort this problem out.
To be fair; Taraabt was clearly not matchfit yesterday. But he will come good,be you sure.

Not worried about his fitness its his head and what goes on inside is of concern.

I thought Hall did not close the player down for the goal, he always stands off because he has no pace, and then committed the cardinal sin of turning his back on the shot. I've seen him do it at least once before this year. In the prem, players like JT will put any part of their body in the way to block shots, everybody does it, you can't allow players to get shots away. (That's if it was him, looked so)

It was and at least Gibbidon put his body on the line and blocked a shot for the shirt.
