Oh come on man its not meant to be an exact replica of that classic retro kit. If i had a choice i would lose the white slash at the top but other than that this a class shirt modelled on that classic kit. Ok everyone has their own opinions but this is a monster of a kit imho. For years ive wanted us to bring back this kit. Ive got a poster on my wall of all our home and away kits dating back to 1886 and the 74-75 red and white quarters and the 75-76 red and white halves are our stand out kits. Weve had some classic menace shirts too and i was partial to the black and yellow strip a few years ago but this is up with the very best kits weve ever had. In years to come we will look back on this as a classic like the 83 guiness shirt.
I think it's ok but not in love with the design on the top, plus I don't know how a sponsor will take to the style. But its ok and certainly better than some of the previous 3rd kits

but you do live in yarkshire where dress sense is optional.....
I thought many had agreed not to give T&C any (or anymore if S/T holder) of our hard earned cash.
Boycotting all merchandise, food, drinks, programmes in the ground ?
With Bothroyd, Dyer, Gabbidon and possibly DJ close, are people's views starting to change ?
Can't believe 1 Club Statement of 'spin' has turned heads.
PS. I'm not condeming anyone who does spend, I think the kit looks nice also, especially without Spondorship, everyone can make their own minds up.
But I was determined not to spend another penny (beyond S/T's) a month ago, now I'm having 2nd thoughts. Am I alone ?
