Roberts was shocking! Twice I remember goals going in through his legs. Barnsley and Ipswich. Bankole was woeful. He dropped the pen once when a kid asked for an autograph in front of me. Culkin too was one of the shoddiest of all time. So many candidates.

Bankole for me - recall him coming on as a sub and nearly knocking Danny Maddix out coming for a cross (which he didn't even get close to!). After that I dont recall him doing anything right. Scared the living crap out of the whole crowd when the ball went anywhere near him. Ok, we may have had some poor keepers in the past, but nothing comes close to Bankole.

I actually think he was a big reason for QPR's relegation. QPR went down by 4 points and he cost QPR many points, including two at home to Forest when Jason Lees's header went right through his hands as he dived down to save it and it cost QPR the win. He also cost QPR two goals at Southampton, was largely at fault for a number of other goals and I think he kept just one clean sheet all season. He was ok at saving some shots at mid-height but useless at low shots and at handling crosses. £600,000 he cost, but wasn't worth £600.

Culkin was also dreadful. I expected QPR to lose or draw whenever he played.

Richardson looked a decent keeper on the very few occasions he was asked to deputise for Parkes, but when Parkes left, his true abilities came to the fore. Replaced by Chris Woods, who during his time at QPR never lived up to the reputation he built up at Forest and he was soon dispensed with and replaced by John Burridge, a very underated keeper, who probably produced the best save I have ever seen from a QPR keeper, at the Valley, when a thirty yard screamer was hit, took a wicked deflection and some how Budgie turned in mid air to tip the ball over the bar. We have had some great keepers and we have some real bad ones, which have pretty much been mentioned here, but I am surprised that Ted has forgotten about the first in the post-Springett era, Alan Kelly.

i think youve got a bit confused nobby baby, dont wortry about it im always confused thats why i have to check with my adopted son jeffro hes never confused
your confusion is youve mixed two goalkeepers together
alan spratley and mike kelly two absolutely useless keepers god only knows where we sold sprately too he was one of the shortest goalies ever at 5ft 8inches
but birmingham cvity ended up with mike kelly i think we got about 45 000 pounds for him
