I think Magilton was a useless ncut who had no man management skills whatsoever.
Don't forget he was habving a go at Vine and Buzzsaky after the Accrington Stanley game. Both players had only just returned from lengthy career threatening injuries and were clearly not 100% match fit and a bit rusty. That's is disgraceful management and it seems he carried on his rift with the pair of them right up until he was sacked.
So why is it that Buzsaky should have been kicked out?
Buzsaky should not only be kept in the squad but even get a fair bit of playing time if fit. There is no one at the club who can take free kicks as well as he can. And he can easily play off a target man or just behind the front two.

On the contrary Magilton had decent man management skills with 3/4s of the squad. No where near as good as neils though!
He didnt like Ageymang, Vine or Buzz specifically and well..those three (as people) have never really appealed to me either if I'm honest..
The facts of the matter are whatever happened (and players have said that magiltin went nose to nose with buzz but never "butted" him) is that all should have been suspended pending an enquiry. Paladini went in and asked the players what happened and actually asked them who should go..buzz or magilton..and the players said magilton.
It was the "italian way" of sorting the issue out.
They also thought Gorman (who had originally said he would) would be the new gaffer...but Gorman, a decent man and coach, went with his mate - on principle.
The whole thing was handled wrong from start to finish.
But heh, suppose we wouldnt have got neil if we handt gone thru all that sh*t. As for Buzz, I can count the number of decent games he's had on one hand in about 3 years.
Afraid its another Lee Cook situ....rose tinted glasses by many IMHO.
Buzz simply isnt good enough for our first team - he wasnt good enough for us last year and wont be good enough for us this year

Doesn't really add up. Apparently a lot of the Ipswich players didn't like him either and were not sad to see him sacked.

Has to be noted that allegedly a lot stayed sctum when asked.
Albeit Dave challenging Magilton to take him on I would have loved to have seen Not that magilton would shy away from a ruck
